As decided at the last convocation, OCADL 2009 will be held in Pembroke (Eastern Region) on May 29 – 31st, 2009. The Bishop of Pembroke Diocese, Most Reverend Michael Mulhall will be the keynote speaker, host Ordinary, and principal celebrant and homilist for the closing Mass.

His Excellency, Bishop Michael Mulhall, Bishop of Pembroke
OCADL has divided Ontario into four regions for planning purposes. The location of the annual convocation is rotated among them.
1. Eastern (Kingston, Ottawa, Pembroke [2009], Alexandria-Cornwall)
2. South-Western (London, St. Catharines [2006], Military Ordinariate)
3. South-Central (Hamilton, Peterborough [2007], Toronto)
4. Northern (Sault Ste-Marie [2008], Thunder Bay, Hearst, Timmins, Moosonee)
In OCADL 2008, we identified possible charisms given by the Spirit to enable us to better serve the Lord in our Diocesan ministry. Plan now to join us on Pentecost weekend 2009, as we explore what it means to be a diaconate leader according to the theme: “Called, Formed and Strengthened by The Spirit” i.e., how do we recognize those who are called, how do we form those who are recognized, and how do we help those who are ordained and their wives? How do we use the charisms we have been given as leaders in coordinating the admission, formation of candidates for the Permanent Diacconate, and ongoing formation of deacons?
As Jesus said, “Come and see!”
